FUTA Journal of Management and Technology

FJMT is a Journal of the School of Management Technology (SMAT), The Federal University of Technology, Akure. The Senate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure at its 167th Statutory Meeting held on Wednesday, 25th May 2005, considered the proposal for the establishment of the School of Management Technology (SMAT) in the University. Consequent upon the Senate approval, SMAT started as the department of Management Technology with options in Project Management Technology and Transport Management Technology. SMAT has grown to having additional four departments: Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, and Entrepreneurial Management Technology. Vision of SMAT is to become the best School of Management Technology in Nigeria.

 

The FJMT is a peer-reviewed journal with focus on general management, management sciences & technology; business management; entrepreneurship; economics; and project management. We also consider and welcome papers from other fields of study with management. As part of its mandate in promoting research and development, the dissemination of intellectual publications for development, FJMT is published in English, both in print (hard copy) and online in two issues in April and October. It reports original works, review and commentaries on a broad range of management and technological studies. The online issues will be available at www.fjmt.futa.edu.ng prior to the print edition.
