ABOUT OUR JOURNAL

The Federal University of Technology, Akure Journal of Engineering and Engineering Technology (FUTAJEET) is a publication of the School of Engineering and Engineering Technology (SEET) of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Ondo State, Nigeria. FUTAJEET is an open-access journal that was launched in the year 1999 by SEET with the aims of providing a high-level platform where cutting-edge advancements in engineering research and development, current major research outputs and key achievements can be disseminated and shared; to report progress in engineering science and ethics in engineering; to encourage engineering breakthroughs and innovations that will engendering, preservation, transmission and advancement of engineering and engineering technology.

FUTAJEET is published twice every year that is, in May and November and welcomes Top quality, up-to-date research outputs stemming out from original, need—driven, practical creative multidisciplinary, innovative technological research endeavours in all aspects of engineering and related applied sciences from any part of the world. Papers submitted for publication must be original and shall make definite contribution to knowledge in engineering. Papers are processed for publications with the understanding that they have neither been submitted nor accepted for publication elsewhere.

All manuscripts must be prepared in English, and are subject to a rigorous and fair peer-review process. Accepted papers will immediately appear online and printed copy at the end of each year as a combined issues.

FUTAJEET also aims at rapidly promoting the publication and dissemination of empirical studies focusing on solving developmental problems confronting developing countries; self-reliant technologies, including adaptable, sustainable and transferable technologies and; critical review articles across the multidisciplinary field of engineering such as:
